Dang.

Tom lost his job on Monday. Isn't that rude? The economy is kicking the butt of our profession. No one is building, paying, or hiring. Come on people! Get it together! I've got fabric to buy, IKEA to support, Reese's peanut butter cups to consume. What are those people going to do...without me? It is a vicious cycle. Everything will be okay though. I'm sure of it. Tom wasn't in love with this last job and he really wasn't getting the training he needed, so it is a blessing in disguise. We aren't given anything that we can't handle right? It builds character right? We are going to be really strong characters after this...so WATCH OUT for the Dunfords. :) I promise to post something happy and full of good news soon.

Sorry to hear, hope something comes your way soon. I have heard a lot about slowing construction but the company I work for is booming right now, I guess the energy sector of construction is still pretty strong?

Yeah...I guess so. It has been crazy lately. A lot of the design firms are laying people off, they aren't getting paid by clients, because no one is buying. rude.

What an unexpected turn of events. Guess you'll just have to move back to Logan! (We can recommend a great neighborhood.) Hope things work out in a timely fashion. Good thing Halloween is coming soon. You can go trick-or-treating and stock up on your chocolate for free.

That totally sucks. I am so sorry. You've got the right attitude though - there's a reason for it and something better will come along. Good luck to Tom on his job search!

Major suckage! Does that mean you are still going to live Salt Lake still. I am sorry. You can always come back to Freds if you want and get some reeses cups we usually have them.

Oh man Meg, neither of us can catch a break in the working world! I'm sorry, I'm sure everything will be okay for both of us. I got your message yesterday, sorry, I was putting the babe down for her nap. I would love to be rich but I probably am not so I can't buy the trailer, thank you for asking though. I will call you this week!

I am really sorry to hear that. That sucks! This industry is really having a hard time! I've had designer friends loose their jobs too, and mine definatally isn't that secure either! Hopefully people will come to their senses soon enough and we can all be raking in the dough!

I'm so sorry you guys! That does bite! Rob's work has been super slow as well. They said they aren't to the point of laying people off yet. We are crossing our fingers that things will pick back up soon. I admire your good attitude about things. I'm sure things will work out. Talk to you soon!
